Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Some sites use them to follow you around the internet. We don’t.
The short version
Seda Alma uses only the cookies and browser storage the shop needs to work: to remember your basket, keep you signed in, and protect the checkout. There are no advertising, analytics or social media cookies, and no tracking pixels.
Because we only use what is strictly necessary, the law does not require us to ask for your consent, so you won’t see a cookie banner here. If that ever changes, we will ask you first.
Browsing the shop sets nothing at all. Cookies appear only once you add something to your basket or sign in.
Cookies we set
| Name | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
wp_woocommerce_session_… | Remembers your basket while you shop. | 2 days |
woocommerce_items_in_cart | Tells the site that your basket has something in it. | Until you close your browser |
woocommerce_cart_hash | Notices when your basket changes, so the page shows it correctly. | Until you close your browser |
wordpress_logged_in_… and wordpress_sec_… | Keep you signed in to your account, if you have one. | Until you close your browser, or 14 days if you choose “Remember me” |
wordpress_test_cookie | Checks that your browser accepts cookies, so you can sign in. | Until you close your browser |
Browser storage we use
At checkout, the shop also keeps a few items in your browser’s local storage: a copy of your basket (storeApiCartData, storeApiCartHash) so the checkout loads quickly, and a security code (storeApiNonce) that protects your order from being tampered with. These stay in your browser and are not sent to anyone else.
What we don’t use
- No Google Analytics or any other analytics service.
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No Facebook, TikTok or other social media pixels or buttons that track you.
- No cookies from other websites (third-party cookies).
- No tracking pixels in our emails.
Controlling cookies
You can delete cookies or block them in your browser settings. If you block the cookies above, you won’t be able to use the basket or sign in, because the shop needs them to work.
